Black Book: A Film that looks inside Philippines' Street Art Movement and Community

Street art doesn't exactly get the best of reputations. Often equated to vandalism, or perhaps the work of ne'er-do-wells with too much time on their hands, it's a little difficult to see street art as something that's actually artistic.

That is, if you don't know where to look. Black Book - a documentary on the graffiti and street art scene in the Metro - gives you just enough starting points. Recently launched during Vinyl on Vinyl's "Odds and Ends" exhibition, it caps off the 10th anniversary celebration of one of the country's biggest street art collectives, Pilipinas Street Plan, which features prominently in it. (Check out our  previous coverage on PSP's anniversary here.)

Check out the documentary above to see what we mean.

The real meaning why they write. And this is not joke #Blackbook
